Why do some of our kittens purr easy 4 me?
So we have 5 kittens. 2 always purr as long as their being held and pet (10 weeks old 1 boy 1 girl). Then 1 purrs every so often, but not all the time, and any1 in our house can make her purr (14 weeks old girl), then there's 1 who I CAN'T get 2 purr (10 weeks old girl)... it seems like she hates me. She ALWAYS runs from me, always jumps out of my lap. and seems freaked out when I hold her. Why is that? Then there's the last 1. She will ALWAYS purr 4 me, but rarely 4 every1 else (14 weeks old girl). Why???Pytanie #2:

I started training for xc on monday.Monday I did a timed 5K to see where I was starting at.
Tuesday I did a half mile warm up, then a timed two mile.
Wendesday I did a 4 mile run at a pace slightly harder than comfortable.
What should I do tonight?
I was thinking either a long, slow 5 mile run
or another timed 3 mile
or a 30 minute run, 1 minute hard, 1 minute easy
Which one should I do and why? Thanks
*I know I started late but I only have 3 weeks to train before the season starts so that's why I've been doing speed workouts. I'm an 18 year old female, 5'7" and 118 pounds if that matters and last year in XC my 5K PR was 18:42 but I'm NO WHERE near that right now because I slacked all summer. :(

Okay so last week I was masturbating on the balcony so I could have a good view if anybody was coming home. Right before I ejaculate, I have a habit of closing my eyes, so there I was, about to bust with my eyes closed, when the door opened. Why is this considered running?
My son's father and I have started talking to each other without arguing about a week ago. Prior to that, I had gone nearly five months without talking to him. We have a 10 month old that he has never seen. He lives in another state and I had moved shortly after finding out I was pregnant due to work. The reason I had stopped talking to my son's father for several months was because he had made it clear on several attempts that he didn't want to know about the son him and I have and during the ending arguments we were having, he had said to me we were no longer friends. I accepted there was nothing more between us of the little that seemed to be left.When him and I started talking again, he made a comment while briefly catching me up with what was going on that I had ran out a few weeks ago. I didn't say anything to him about this because I felt and still feel if I do that it'll lead into an argument and so far him and I have been talking civil to one another. I don't know if he was saying that out of spite just to argue, a co-worker had pointed out that maybe it was because he misses me or if there is possibly another reason he might have said it. I was curious as to how or why this may have been considered running out on him?
When I mean running out on him, at least the way I understand it, is by leaving and no longer talking to him. He knew long before I told him or even found out I was pregnant I was moving. We got along during my pregnancy with no problem. After my son was born is when the arguments really started because of the normal him denying being the father and such. I had a DNA showing he was the father and from there we had some serious arguments and didn't talk for months afterward. This is how he had put it to me about the running out part: hmmm you ran out a few weeks ago....I wanted to ask him than what he meant by it but like I said I didn't want to question him about it because it was the first actual conversation him and I had after arguing the last few times we spoke to each other before the months of not talking and with him making that comment it got under my skin a little.
I haven't wanted to bring it up to him or anything that might lead into an argument since we are currently getting along with each other in the past week, two at tops, of talking again.

For anyone who goes on mangafox, I'm hoping you can help me. I read this really cute romance oneshot manga on the website and i've tried to find it in my favorites menu but i can't! So I was wondering if anyone could tell me the title of this manga. How can I deal with my parents giving our dog away?
Our family of 5 has had a dog for 5 1/2 years. He was an adorable, lovable, and amazing miniature apricot poodle and my sister and I loved him so much. I admit he was often difficult, as he is very stubborn and was hard to train, but I adored him anyway. (He would occasionally run away for 30 minutes or so, but only if he was left unwalked for too long, and he would sometimes bark at people, but not in a mean way)Recently, I went on vacation for a month with friends to Europe, and when I got back I was told: "Sorry, we decided while you were away. We are getting rid of the dog." They had already listed him and had agreed to give him to a complete stranger.
I am so devastated and I don't know how to deal with this. My mom and sister left with my dog to give him away forever 10 minutes ago and I have been bawling my eyes out for the past hour. Even though I can justify why it wasn't fair for him to stay with our family and why it wasn't working, I can't deal with him being gone forever. I am so scared that he won't be happy (he is extremely attached to me and my mom, and I think it will traumatize him to be taken away) and that we aren't sending him to a good home. My dad apologized to me so much for doing this, but he said that the dog was causing way too much stress in our family (my mom yelling at me, my sister, and my brother for anything the dog did wrong) and that even if it wasn't our fault that it didn't work, that we needed to get rid of him.
How can I deal with this? I am never going to get to see my dog, who I raised since he was a puppy and cuddled and loved, ever again. Everytime I think about him or see a picture of him, I start to cry and I can't focus on anything or do anything :(
Also, my parents said we can't get another dog and likely can't get another pet either, so that isn't an option.

Even though the recommended power requirement for the GTX 460 is 450watts w/ 24a rails I want to make sure that my power supply will be able to handle all the power needed. I don't want to upgrade my power supply so if I don't get this card my other alternative would be the ati 5770. Oh and I'm gaming on a 20 in acer monitor (1600x900). So I'm asking for your opinion on whether if my power supply will be able to handle a gtx 460 with the stuff listed above.
The OCZ Modxstream Pro 500w has two 18a rails which totals up to 36a for the whole psu.

There is this cute girl that I have been working with for a few weeks now. We started talking but sometimes she will walk by me without saying anything or just walk by me. Last Week at work we ran into each other and she said " long time no speak my love" and the same day while I had to stay back to do something at work she told me " hurry up my love" She always leaves work without saying Hi. Earlier this week we talked a little and she had to go and she blew me a kiss and asked why I didnt blow one back? But earlier this week I saw here many times and she didn't say a thing.The Next Day at Work we were talking alot and she was touching me alot like squezzing my stomach and hitting me. Running Away From HOME!?
I am 17 and I come from a Indian family and we live in Leicester, UK. I am a male. I completed school with satisfactory GCSE grades how ever my first year of college did not go to well due to mental issues and stress at home so my college kicked me out, I do not have a current job or any money really, however I have been seeking a job ever since April of 2010, I want to continue education in the next academic year of 2010/2011. My parents never really give me any money or pocket allowance so I resorted in taking some of my sisters money, When my dad found out he physically beat me up until I was bleeding huge amounts, he was also going to resort to cutting me with a knife but my sisters stepped in, I was going to call the police but he told me that if I do he would put criminal theft charges against me, which would ruin my chance of getting a job in the future so I didn't. I really don't know what to do, my mother died when i was 7 and my dad married my step mom who is always horrible to me and my other two sisters. I want to get out of this house asap as I am worried about me and my sisters well being, but my sisters love my dad to much to leave him, I have no money and no family and I really don't know where to go or who to ask.If someone could advice me what to do, I would really be very grateful.

Thank you for the answer "Bob K"! I appreciate the time you put into the scenario.
The scenario came up as I watched a video of a Grizzly. charging. In order for the bear to reach the person it had to weave around some big rocks and trees so the shooter wasn't getting the best shot at the bear. It wasn't until the bear was ~30 feet away that the shooter had a clear shot.
The other reason why I asked about a .45 ACP was that many people have them and may not buy a .44 revolver for the 1 or 2 times a year that they go to mountains.
I asked specifically about the black bear being that it's in the weight range of a large man. Why couldn't a .45 ACP take down a black bear then?

My doggies poop alot and i take them outside but all they do is run and play around. . . sometimes they are very annoying and i feel like my head is going to explode and i have a cat too but thats not a problem my cat isnt scared of them even though he would do a high pitch if they get close but if my cats strys to swing his hand at the dogs the dogs would run away lol. . . i dont want my cat to be like this though he hates it when the dogs bark and run around . . . my cat that just turned one on june 16.. . is soooooo active he would run around our backyard climb trees and go back down, he would also follow squirrels and he runs sooo fast that he catches up to them and he almost climbs a 30 feet tree and is still able to go back down. . . my cat is very playful soo i tickle him and stuff he would bite and kick (in a playful manner) but sometimes when i tickle him too much he would kick very hard and still playing but he is sooo strong i dont think its normal if you look at his arms they look muscular since he climbs trees and runs alot. . .his nails are also big . . my cat is a domestic shorthair he is black and white he weighs 9 pounds. . . I have also noticed that when my cat gets near another cat the cat would hiss and run away all cats do this i have seen him . . .i remember 2 weeks ago there was this cat (same kind as my cat) laying on the floor so my cat approached it and when he did that cat got mad. My cat was smelling that cat and did this nasty face (maybe the one when you smell something and it stinks) can you tell me if my cat is a normal cat he doesnt worry about having sex with cats he only approaches them like he is ready to attack i have also noticed a racoon ( my cat was following and it ran away) i didnt know racoons were scared of cats. . . here is a pic of himClick Here

I'm 18 years old, 5'7" and 118 pounds and I love peanut butter. I often have it for lunch- with the amount of peanut butter I put on it and the whole wheat bread that I use, it's almost 650 calories. I eat about 1500 a day, sometimes more.

How fast could I have a 5k. I ran one a few weeks ago for the community race, and i wasnt trying that hard and got a 23:53(it was for fun i wasnt feeling competitive at all) and i have another not-so-competitive one today.

Summary:
Anansiana ‘Ansie’ Lightning was just a regular old nerd in Vernon Prep. Just a regular 14-year-old, book-loving, glasses nerd that prefers science over soccer, Ansie discovers a family secret that changes her life forever. When she is tormented by bullies, she turns into a girl that she never imagined. Her grandmother explains that the ‘Sapphire Stone’ has released its elemental powers. Her clothes came from Forever 21, if you recognize the cute skinny jeans and the familiar blouse. She looked back from the sidewalk. Slowly, her mouth curled up to reveal braces with purple-and-white bands.

The girl with the current clothes, black glasses and purple braces started to run. Her white flats were making no sound, which was a relief compared to her clicking heels back at home, but they were KILLING her.
“Agh…!” she cried when she twisted her ankle. It was minor, though, but it was sore.
Limping, the girl made her way to a big, pretty, three-story white house with blue trim. Every single grass blade was cut equally, and the garden path of roses was watered and well. A round woman was hosing the lawn.
“Well, hello, Katheryn! How are you today?” the girl asked.
Katheryn smiled. “Ooh, I am just fine dear! The question IS, are you?”
“Oh, yes ma’am!”
“Okay. Well, get inside. You best be doin’ your homework!”
The girl skipped gracefully up the steps and pressed a button on the pristine white door. Instead of a grand doorbell chime, a green light scanned the girl up to down, head to toe. “Who goes there?” a mechanical voice asked flatly.
As the light scanned the girl, she said, “Anansiana Lightning.”
Seconds later, it proceeded on to speech. “Human being – scanned. Name: Anansiana ‘Ansie’ Lightning. Gender: Female. Age: 14. Birth date: July 15, 1995. Only daughter of Mercedes Theodora Lightning (realtor) and Justin Lightning (millionaire). Health problems: None. Status: Single—” Ansie blushed. “Okay, that’s enough,” she remarked.
The door automatically opened to a big, spaced home. She plopped her bag and books on the wide leather couch and stored her flats (which revealed sore feet) in her own shoe closet.
A tall, slender man with a blue shirt and jeans entered. He had brown messy hair and blue tender eyes. He was Justin Lightning, Ansie’s dad.
“Oh, hi Ansie. You’re back early,” Justin said pleasantly.
“Yeah. Homework’s encumbered tonight. Is Alicia here?”
“Um, I think so. Her shift’s beginning to start. Just check in the kitchen.”
“Okay, Dad.”
Ansie walked to the kitchen while Justin trudged upstairs, sipping coffee in one hand and holding a bundled newspaper in the other.
“Ali?”
A sizzling of a pan started. A pretty woman, Alicia Brighton, in a white outfit and hair in a ponytail was whipping up some food. “Hello, Ansie. What’s up today?” Alicia asked, flipping a hamburger patty.
“Today’s math was pretty ruthless, but I think I could take it—” Ansie started, when Ali interrupted.
“That could use a teriyaki burger!” she exclaimed, landing a big flip.
“I guess, yeah. I’m in a mood of express food and world cuisine at the moment.” The hungry girl rubbed her stomach and stared at the hamburger patty.

Where should I ride??
Ok, well i have no arena at my barn (I don't board) so where should i ride? We have 3 pastures but they all have steep hills. I have 2 English show horses so i jump and do dressage a LOT. We have over 100 acres of land. I normally ride behind my house ( in between the barn and the house there is a big field) and i have jumps set up. But I'm training a green horse how to jump and i don't want her to run off with me. So what should i do? We don't have the money to build an arena.When i say i cant ride anywhere, I mean there's nowhere to ride that's fenced in. I need help with my nutrition, I work out 3 hours a day ( demanding work out) and I think it's my nutrition holding me back.My workout:
in the morning, I do hour half of Bjj ( Brazilian Jiu Jitsu)
in the afternoon. I do a hour 1/2 Conditioning, running in sand dragging weights, pull ups, pushups, rope climbs, etc
in the evening I do another 1 1/2- 2 hours of Bjj, or Muay Thai ( Tuesday, Wednesday. Friday)
I do that Mon-Fri, then on weekends I still run a few miles a day, and play racquetball with some friends, maybe swim 500 meters, and then end it with a hour in the Spa..
Back to my point, I eat bad, for example today it's 2:59. I've had a Big Country Breakfast burrito and a banana shake from Carl's Jr. and a Granola bar.. For lunch I may go to McDonalds and get a grilled chicken sandwich.
I don't drink soda, mostly water and Arnold Palmers ( Lemonade Light with unsweetened tea)

I'm still a little hungry so would it be okay to have a peanut butter sandwich? It's Skippy NATURAL peanut butter and I'd be using 100% whole wheat bread. No jelly.

Aerosmith overated?its true back in the saddle kicked ass & their latter songs r commercial but crazy is good?
To be truly considered great, the span of their career needs to be great. Latter on aerosmith did a lot of promotion in attaching their names to stuff and wrote commercial friendly song because their company didn't think their songs will have radio play. And they also hired song doctors. So ppl view them as ran out of idea & sold out. Music connoisseurs dimiss all aerosmith stuff not in toys in the attic & rocks. But sometimes i think ppl base what is good on how raw they were (instead of the later polish sound) and how esoteric the songs were. I think crazy is a good song. Great harmonica to start the song, great singing (tyler's voice has the same feel as a harmonica) especially the falsetto in the end. It is very middle of the road, safe rock. The guitar isn't anything not done before & can be viewed as dull/uninpiring, but you know what it sounds pretty good. Most pop songs are love songs. So ppl think love songs are overdone. But that doesn't mean its a crime to write love songs. and love songs should be viewed as inferior. Personally, i think writing a decent commercial song isn't that easy. We can't really put crazy on the same scale as pop rock songs that use a few chords & the selling point is the quirkiness. its better. But I do agree aerosmith have been riding on their past fame for awhile. But they wrote some great songs that most bands can't do so you can't say they are overated. And i guess I am Just trying to say the success of crazy came back to bite it. But it really is a decent song & that was post 70s aerosmith.Pytanie #38:

Has anyone ever heard of Gary IN? Well thats where I grew up! You know parts of Gary do not even have running water? Keep in mind this is the US people. Did you also know 80% of the residents live below the poverty line??? Once again the US.I think that people need to get a grip and stop feeling sorry for illegal immigrants simply bc life was hard in their home country. I was homeless for a year with a child trying to get my feet back under me. I slept in bus stations, Wal-Mart dressing rooms, in shelters and wherever else I could find. I didnt steal to feed myself or my child nor did I abuse any government programs.
I think its quite pathetic if you ask me. When it gets hard you dig in your heels and you effing fight. Whatever happen to that? I do not feel sorry for any of these criminals and neither should you.

One Month till 1/2 Marathon, Am I Ready?
Ok so I just have a little over a month until the 1/2 marathon I was planning on running. My goal is 1h45mins. I just started running in June and have ran a 5K race (22:02) an 8K (35:23) and 10K (44:18), but I feel as though I'm improving every day. The longest run I've ran in training so far is 15km, so I know I have to increase that in the next few weeks. Why am I always starving 2 hours after breakfast?
I wake up around 10 a.m. each morning and ALWAYS have breakfast no later than 11 a.m. (I usually give myself a half hour to 45 minutes)My typical breakfast is oatmeal with fresh fruit and nuts, or an egg white omlette, or greek yogurt with pumpkin and nuts.
But by 12:30 or 1, I'm STARVING already- no matter what I have for breakfast!
One day I had 5 pieces of french toast and a bowl of cereal and two hours later, I was dying to have lunch.
I don't understand. Why do I get so hungry so quickly after having breakfast even though I eat healthy and a good amount?
I'm 18 years old, 5'7" and 118 pounds. I run about 3 to 4 miles each night around 9 p.m. I probably eat around 1500-2000 calories. Some days a little more
* I drink about 6 glasses of water a day.

How do I comprimise between my wishes and my husband's eldery dog's quality of life.?
My husband brought an old dog into our marriage. She's about 16 or 17. He's out of town all week, home on the weekends, so the care during the week falls to me. She's a nice enough dog, but she doesn't have much control of pooping and peeing anymore. I cage her at night, but it isn't uncommon for her to poop or pee in the cage. However, if I leave her out, she almost always poops or pees and often steps in it and walks all around the room. She won't use a puppy pad, for some reason. During the day, she sometimes has daily accidents, even though she has a dog door with access to the outside. She's too stiff to take for a walk outside in the heat. She just sits down outside. So, I pretty much keep her gated in the back room. Sometimes I feel bad for that. What a boring life for an old dog. Just sitting in one room all the time when she used to have the run of the house and liked to lay about on the carpet in the family room. She kicks diapers off, unfortuately, and won't wear them. I get really sick of cleaning up her mess, but I know she can't help it.Are there ways to improve her quality of life without having poop and pee all over the house and yuck. Any suggestions?
She has been to the vet. Recently. The vets says we can give her all sorts of meds and tests but that she's very, very old and it probably won't help much since you can't turn back time.
And anyway, you wouldn't euthanize your elderly mom just cause she's lost bladder function and can't walk, would you? Please stop suggesting that.

so i'm sure you're all familiar with the end of my relationship lol. i ended it a few days ago. haven't heard from my ex-fiance since. he cheated on me for a few months with another girl. it was both emotional and physical.so i ended it with him. but i mean, i ended it thinking he would come back running back to me and begging for me back. and i thought that if he did that then it means he really does love me and i could learn to forgive him. but i haven't heard from him since i ended it. does that mean that he never loved me at all? my mom started with the wedding cancellations but i told her to put it on hold for now.. but i haven't heard from him. he really doesn't care, does he? i guess that's what this means huh? i sent him an email too telling him how angry i am for what he did and he just ignored me lol.

Is there a chance of pregnancy?
Okay so here's the deal, I'm going to try to add as much info as I possibly can (sorry if some get grossed out) but if I forget something it's either not there or I don't know.I'm 23 years old, unmarried but soon to be engaged (overheard some stuff hehe) and since ovulation (yes I'm one of those that feels it) I have been feeling quite a few symptoms.
My boyfriend and I have a very healthy sex life. (Once or maybe more a day) and we are firm believers of "if it's meant to be, it will happen" so lately we haven't been paying much attention to birth control. My patch fell off twice in the beginning of July, so he told me to just stop wearing it altogether.
Now I had my last period on July 5th 2010, for about 6 days. I believe I have ovulated around the 15 or 16th.
The last week and a half I have been feeling sick, started with really hardcore cramping, then diarrhea, then constipation, back aches, breasts were sore mostly the nipples, mood swings (my pen fell to the floor and I cried...don't ask)...nausea just started within the last couple days (no vomiting though, just sick) everytime i see smell or taste anything it's just not enjoyable...
The feeling of fatigue has been running through since the first day I felt that hardcore cramp. To the point where I would fall asleep everyday after work at about 7pm and have the hardest time waking up at 6. Sleep is not enough it seems.
Now my period is due to start on Monday (August 2nd 2010) and for the last 2 days I have had the continuing symptoms but I wake up every morning to extreme wetness. It almost feels like I either wet myself or it's my period, but after running to the bathroom I quickly realize there is nothing there, simply watery....
On Tuesday, I did a pregnancy test (First Response) and it came out negative. :(
I'll do another one on the weekend but what do you think? Is there a chance I am pregnant or is my body just out of wack?
I forgot to mention I have cold-like symptoms, runny nose a little and some sneezing, but not much. Thanks guys! xo

Last night I woke up with severe pains between my chest and crotch area. They felt like needles stabbing at me and seemed to get worse if I breathed. I fell asleep after awhile, but they lasted for about an hour or so. The pain was so severe I thought I'd have to make a run for the bathroom, but all I could do was lie down.
